SEO Hosting Success Story
Client: SEO Hosting, which is a member of the HostGator family. SEO Hosting “enables webmasters to host websites from one control panel (WHM) and assign each account it’s own different Class C IP address.”
Goal: SEO Hosting wanted to attract more potential customers by becoming more involved in the search engine optimization community. They decided that they could accomplish this by using their blog to provide free information to members of the search engine optimization community.
Results: I began blogging for SEO Hosting at the beginning of June. I published two posts per week, and paid close attention to the feedback I received from the search engine optimization community. From May to June, the traffic to SEO Hosting rose from ~12,000 to ~18,000. Over the next three months, the monthly traffic of SEO Hosting continued to grow, and SEO Hosting received ~30,000 visitors in the month of October.

By focusing on creating content that appeals to general social media websites like Digg and StumbleUpon, along with niche social media websites like Sphinn, I have not only helped SEO Hosting increase the number of potential customers that visit their website, but have also worked to increase the amount of discussion that takes place around their brand.
